It is a bittersweet week at team Devos Stables, as Comme Laude leaves for pastures new with Bart Bles and S.F. Equestrian. The 2010 gelding has been under Pieter Devos for 7 years, competing successfully in CSI5* competitions, and proving himself worthy as a potential Grand Prix horse; born out of the Cornet Obolensky line, and a direct son of Comme Il Faut.
Pieter commented, “Comme Laude is a horse with a bright future ahead of him, and under Bart’s care I believe can be incredibly successful at the highest level of our sport. It was a hard decision to part with him, as I felt he was a strong contender amongst my own string of Grand Prix horses, but I know that he will excel with Bart and SF Equestrian, and I’m looking forward to seeing him start a new chapter in his career.”
Comme Laude recently moved to Bart’s stables to settle in and the pair will soon be competing in the ring as their new partnership forms. From all at team Devos Stables, we wish them the very best for the future together!
