In spring and summer he sojourns at Stud farm Zangersheide in Lanaken where last year he turned into one of the most popular stud stallions. The winter is spent in Pieter Devos’ yard who has great expectations of him and a strong belief that with Rob Roy he has a future GP horse in his stables! Everyone who meets Rob Roy is impressed by him. That happened at his first major public appearance at the Zangersheide Stallion Inspection and later at the Woodlands International Sales where he was sold for a record sum. Meanwhile Rob Roy’s first offspring have been born and they show to have inherited a lot from their sire, but their ancestors Diamant de Semilly and Jenson van ‘t Meulenhof Z are clearly recognisable too. So expectations are that Rob Roy can inject a lot of capacity, take-off and dynamism into your mare.
