Flash stands out in Aachen

Pieter and four of our horses competed last weekend at Aachen, 'das Welftfest des Pferdesports'.

Espoir was especially saved for this show but strumbled in the warm up and therefore, Pieter took the decision to retire from the rest of the show and to not take any risks.

For Claire Z, it has been the first time on the holy grass of Aachen. Her highlight was Thursday's Nations Cup, in which she jumped an incredible clear first round. In the second round, she overjumped on the water early in the course, which caused three jumping faults.

With his father Clinton ending up second in the GP some years ago, Gin D is born to jump in big arenas and he showed us exactly that. He jumped clear in his first round and had one unlucky rail in each of his two other classes.

Without doubt, the star of the weekend was Flash with nothing but clear rounds and a promising fifth place in the final for eight year olds.
